IWV in the News:
Missourians might want to tune out the barrage of political ads that flow from their dubious distinction of being both a presidential and hotly-contested Senatorial battleground. Yet they can't ignore the consequences of the policy decisions being made by their political representatives. One place they see those consequences firsthand is at the gas pump.
On behalf of Independent Women's Voice, I want to congratulate the following signers of the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge who were victorious in their respective primary contests.
As President Obama’s poll numbers have slipped over recent months, Democrats are trying to build a narrative that there is a Republican "War on Women." The White House and the Democratic Party, along with outmoded "feminist" organizations, are betting that they can goose turnout in November and the Democratic vote among women by fear-mongering on "women's issues."
IWV Congratulates ObamaCare Repeal Pledge Signer Ted Cruz on Securing Run-off Spot in Texas GOP Senate Primary
Last night, Ted Cruz became just the most recent candidate who may not have been the establishment favorite, but who was a signer of the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge and did well in his primary. After last night’s returns, on July 31st, Cruz will face David Dewhurst in a runoff election for the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate. We offer our congratulations to him on securing a spot in the run-off contest.
